REMINDER:

NO SCHOOL MONDAY, OCTOBER 26^TH FOR TEACHER IN-SERVICE.

Wear Your Cap to School Day

This Friday, we will team up with students from over 300 schools across the country to raise awareness funds for children battling cancer.  Although all students will be allowed to wear a cap whether or not they donate, we are hoping many of our students will be able to donate at least $1 towards this worthy cause.

RED RIBBON WEEK ACTIVITIES (October 27 – 30, 2009)

10/27 – Classroom doors/bulletin boards will be decorated, encouraging students to stay “drug free.”

10/28 – “I CAN choose to be drug free.”  Students are asked to bring can goods for needy families.

10/29 – “Hats off to a drug free life.”  Students may wear hats or caps to school.

10/30 – I’ve got better things to do than drugs.”  Students make a list of 5 enjoyable things to do.
